Mode Evolution Training

Mode has purpose-built in-house training facilities at our offices in Ware. Courses are designed to give a mix of theory and practical hands-on learning, so that attendees can benefit from the experience and knowledge-base accrued during Mode’s four-decades in lighting control. Courses deliver a practical understanding of concepts that extend beyond the use of Mode’s product offerings, including the details of DMX, reasons for RS232 and the dynamics of DSI and DALI. As well as the training itself, lunchtime-talks include demonstrations of LED and cold-cathode technology and an overview of the many benefits of specifying and installing Mode’s broad range of lighting control equipment.

Evolution training is delivered in two 2-day courses:

Evolution Certified Installer Covers installation and basic programming including scene-setting, using the real-time-clock and creating systems using the built-in assistants.

Evolution Certified Programmer This advanced course covers programming techniques that include conditional logic, multi-page menus, multi-plate menus and integration using RS232 and IR.

Online Training

Mode Lighting now offer regular live 'webinars'. These training courses are conducted online and feature walk-through tutorials on all aspects of setting up Mode lighting control systems.
